I took these mindful photos @starbucks while in my rest break from teaching the youths about mindfulness program at Carpe Diem Academy, Miami Fl.
Have you ever been intrigued by the flight of birds?
Since we all uses our phones to take beautiful photos…why not do mindful birding too? How about taking pics of birds in flight. This can be fun! Kids can also have fun as well.
The flight of birds has always captivated me, sparking a crazy sense of curiosity. As they fly through the sky with so much grace (I dream of it all the time)and the freedom…it is impossible not to wonder about the way they move through the big wide skies above.
Their beautiful wings and the way they fly & glide, defying gravity and reminding us of the wonders of nature in this universe.
I sometimes check out their synchronized movements and even their patterns, it’s as if they possess a secret language, communicating through their elegant dance in the air.
The flight of birds serves as a reminder of the boundless possibilities that exist beyond our own limitations, inspiring us to reach for the sky and embrace the beauty of flight in all its forms.

So the next time you see birds flying or even when they are walking nearby. Take the the time to mindfully watch each and every movement. You will begin to appreciate life … even better…focus on your life!! Birds have freedom and birds are example of freedom!!

Try Mindful Birding:
Mindful birding, also known as ‘slow birding’ or ‘casual birding’, is birding quietly, intentionally and gently, with the aim of deeply engaging with and enjoying the birds and nature around you. For many folks with accessibility challenges, this is the best way for them to go birding (rather than rushing around and checking off lists). Please remember, though, that there is no wrong way to go birding! See the website …
